Rooted in our backgrounds in landscape architecture, design, and visual storytelling, Coterra was born from a shared passion for creating spaces that feel both elevated and effortless. Before founding Coterra, Lindsay worked as a graphic designer exclusively for a landscape architecture firm, developing image boards and graphics for resort clients like The Four Seasons, large-scale developers such as The Irvine Company, and civic projects including Msheireb in Doha. Clint, was a landscape architect at the same firm with a background working in large civic projects from New York City to Sydney — together, we cultivated a deep appreciation for detail, proportion, and the art of connection between design and lifestyle.

After relocating to Oregon, we felt called to return to our creative roots — but this time, with a mission to bridge a gap in the industry. Designers are often limited by scattered trade accounts and fragmented sourcing. Our goal with Coterra is to offer a single, design-forward destination where both homeowners and trade professionals can find everything they need — from luxury furnishings and pergolas to sculptural fire features — all backed by personalized service and trade programs that make collaboration seamless.
